Tui In the flax

Tuis are wonderful New Zealand birds. They make a beautiful bell like sound.  When I was a child I though someone was playing a xylophone in the tree but in fact it was a Tui.

    Catherine he is a beauty! I was watching one the other day perched on the flax along the hedge next door.
