Photography this week

I have more photos today of out trip up to the Awhitu Peninsular.

I found this wonderful wee little church in the middle of nowhere.  It was just waiting to be photographed.  I took quite a few shots.  It is important when I take photos that I get it from many different views and perspectives.  For 2 reasons to get more interesting photos and one with a new perspective and also so that the subject can be viewed from different angles for future art work.

  1. Wow, you got all those different shots in one day. Some of them look so different. I can just see the first one as a quilt. So serene!

I think we spoke about a class early in the year. There are five Saturdays in March but our retreat is in April so that's not going to come off. We are still really keen to have you as a tutor. I'll be in touch. :-)

  2. This church is wonderful and your word of 'wee' to describe it so adequate. What a marvelous painting or drawing it would make and your photos are fantastic. Was there a cemetery?
So good to see you featured on The Sketchbook Challenge and other sites. I really liked the picture of you and your hubby and the one of the kids was great as well.

  3. Thankyou both very much for your comments. I was actually only at the church for 15 minutes. There wasn't a cemetry at the church. I'm not sure why.
